A Few NSM019 Updates For Ya!

As the summer progresses, so does our planning for this years Northside Summer Market.  If you follow us on our social media platforms, you already know the date for this year's event is Saturday, August 3rd.  However, you probably don't know about the developing details of the day.  While gears are still turning, we can confirm the event schedule which will include split programming between the morning and evening portions of the day as well as other exciting details.

As per tradition, Northside Summer Market will coincide with the World's Longest Yard Sale weekend so community wide yard sales will take place throughout Northside, with a central location congregating at CAIN - 4230 Hamilton Ave.  Yard sales will begin at 9:00 am and continue to 2:00 pm.  Our friends at CAIN will also host a family cook out and cooling zone from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the central location.  If you are interested in registering your house on the map or registering for a spot at the central location, follow the following link:  www.northsidesummermarket.com/

With the help of our friends at Bertke Electric and Humble Monk Brewing Company, we will also host an evening portion of the festival in the shared parking lot of the two businesses - at the corner of Blue Rock and Apple Street (catty-corner to Jacob Hoffner Park).

There, from 6:00 - 11:00 pm, festival patrons can enjoy the Humble Monk beer garden, live music, delicious food and art activities including a community mural painting station hosted by PAR-Projects as well as other projects and performances by local artists.

With respect for our city's past, we've booked one of the best bbq food trucks in town - Meatson's Barbecue.  We are also excited to announce that Cincinnati local musicians - Knotts will be performing a set on center stage.  For more information about Meatson's or Knotts, see the links below.

As we continue finalizing details, we will continue sharing updates!  But for now, let us relay how excited we are for another year celebrating the Northside neighborhood and its businesses & vibrant arts community! We sincerely hope to see you on Saturday, August 3rd.
