Northside Summer Market Commissions 1 of 2: Collaborative People

Are you an artist or homeowner located in Northside, Cincinnati? 
Want to help active this year's Northside Summer Market yard sale map with your talents, creativity and/or summer holiday cheer? If so, you're in the right place!

We're providing up to ten micro-grants — up to $500 each — for artists, musicians, jugglers, dance troops, creative people, or teams to have fun activating the neighborhood on August 4th!!

Every year, we host a neighborhood-wide yard sale as part of Northside Summer Market. It's how the event started over 15 years ago. But before now, if you weren't shopping, there wasn't much to do.

We'd like to change that.

We'd like to give you, our neighbors, a reason to hop around the neighborhood meeting one another. We'd like encourage others to have some fun roaming around Northside this summer. We'd like to see what happens if we invite everyone to treat this year's market like a holiday lights competition (of sorts).

This. Is. An. Experiment.

Our neighbors have given this event their time and energy for a number of years, so we just want to try to give a little bit back. If we're able to knock this thing out of the park, we may be able to do it again next year. Please have fun. Please ask questions. Please apply below.

If you're an artist, you can apply as a Northside resident or as an artist in search of a host resident.
If you're a homeowner or business owner, just wanting to offer space, there's a form for you too.

All entries will be selected via a jury of artists and creative thinkers based in Cincinnati.
